“The Swordfish Inn strikes me as a genuinely welcoming pub with rooms, situated in the busy fishing port of Newlyn. Its clean, comfortable rooms, some offering harbor views, and dog-friendly policy are definite advantages. While parking can be tricky and noise from the lively pub may reach some rooms, the overall experience seems positive, especially given its proximity to local amenities and transport links.”

Somewhat noisy stay near the harbour

satisfactory breakfastloud musicnoisy room
The breakfast was satisfactory.
Our room was located above the pub and it was MUCH too noisy. There was loud music until late. This made it hard to sleep. I think guests need to be told about the music before they book.
